Hi,
please be careful - among some L 450, I can see some other variants. I think it is better to devide them. 1, 10, 9, 3 are very different to the typical L 450. Sorry to say.
In Germany L 450, Hypancistrus sp "Lower Xingu" and Hypancistrus sp "Gurupa" are often mixed together. So it could be that these fish are hybrids.

Hi pleco22,
Thank you for the advise. Not that you mention it i will have a very close look at it. Assumming that 1, 10, 9 and 3 are not L450 what would should i be looking for so that i can separate them. What colour should the body, and the stripes. Can i also use colours of the eyes and size of the eyes.
Cheers,

Hi,
it is not that easy. Few L 450 have a dark yellow body colour. Most of them are grey. Form of the fins and the body shape is a better way to make sure what they are. Try to make pictures from 1, 10, 9, 3 and we will see.
Otherwise follow the rule to avoid hybrids:
- don't mix different sources
- don't mix strange looking fish into the group
If they are Hybrids this won't help very much, but is is just a try
Regards
