Need filtration advice for breeding bristlenose

I'm gonna give breeding bristlenose plecos a try .I just purchased a new tank (30 gallons). What kind of filtration should I use? I'm looking to save money so I was wondering if I could use a lone sponge filter since I already have one. The one I have is fairly large. I just want to make sure I don't need a power filter before I go spending my money on other stuff.

I don't think there is any particular kind of filtration that DOES NOT work for bristlenoses. As long as it's got decent capacity (I'd go for something suitable for a 50-75g tank or so). Beyond that, it's a question of "taste" and "what's available".

Thx I was just curious because I haven't used sponge filters much. The ones I have should be enough then. I was more concerned about having enough water movement for bristlenose.

I have two babies from Ancistrus claro in a small tank with sponge filter. But I would probably, myself, go for a filter that has a pump of some sort.
