I have a group of 9 metae's (recently added 3) due to the fact i did get them to breed,only for the eggs to be infertile everytime...
They get fed defrosted b/w daily and tank temp 23 degrees.

Now again they've started to spawn...is their anything i'm doing wrong with regards to the eggs not hatching?

I usually remove the eggs and put them into a net with an airstone underneath,which up to now has been very sucessful,has i've bred & reared pandas,albinos/bronze/pygmys/tri's...

Any ideas please??

I have bred C. metae - didn't do anything different from breeding the other species that I've bred, C. sterbai. Just move the eggs away from any danger of being eaten, and leave them to it. My recent group of C. metae hasn't laid any eggs [as far as I'm aware!]

The eggs I hatched before were in relatively soft, quite warm water (26-28'C, TDS ~100 ppm, pH probably a bit under 7, but I can't remember precisely).

What is the water parameters? Ph, gh and so on. It might be that your water is to hard for the eggs to hatch.

I've raised lots of Metae corys, they just fix that themselves, with lots of youngsters growing up in the tank with the adults. Lots of java moss in my tanks gives the small ones hiding places...
My water is very soft, with both gh and kh at 2, and ph between 6 and 7, depending on which tank.

I am having similar spawn's and the egg's turn white within a day . As I understand the cory's are not old enough some need to be 2 or 3 year's old before the male's are sexually mature enough to fertilize the egg's . I have young group's of weitzmanni , barbatus , adolphi and black schultzi all spawning from one or a few larger female's but the egg's never hatch just dissolve after 4 or 5 day's . I have left them in taken them out etc. etc. but I think it is just time . Let me know if someone has a different cause . Thank's

I don't think that is correct, they don't need to be 2 or 3 years old to produce viable eggs or fry. I've had 8½ months old Corydoras panda who spawned and the eggs hatched and fry appeared. I've had other youngsters from my own breeding as well, that produce viable eggs at a much younger age than 2 or 3 years. One year old Corydoras adolfoi for instance. They were also my own breeding so I knew their exact age (I make notes to remember their age). They spawned and produced dozens of fry at 12 months
