gulper is ambiguous
if they are astrophysus, then pleco better be larger than they are
if we are talking some kind of an ompok, the pleco should be at least half their size

Hi lovecatfish4928,
Do you mean
,
or maybe even
as all can be referred to as gulper catfish?
Let us know which one for some and I am sure the assistance will come flooding in!

that won't work; at night small quick fish will turn sleepy and the gulpers sure know how to catch em then

The cat-elog says they will try to eat anything up to about twice their size, so you're taking a big risk by keeping almost anything with them. I'm sure they're not adverse to eating each other either.
Plus, if the
Asterophysus decides it's hungry, you may end up losing both fishes, not just one.
This picture says it all really.
