Hello!
I have a mid sized hystrix available if anyone is interested. Extremely black, starting to develop the adult armored/spiky appearance. Meaning you may want to handle animal with gloves. Netting is no longer really an option. It is probably around the 7 inch mark at the moment, not including the lyre tail.
This fish has been with me for a long time, I got him as a polka dotted baby. He's spent most of his life in a planted tank, where he is well behaved.
Note, he must have driftwood/bog oak which he sort of gnaws on.
