new microglanis woot

I just picked up three new little guys for 1.48 each!!! what a steal I dont understand why they arent more popular (perhaps people dont like fish that hide.) on that note I have come to the conclusion that they are note very intelligent at all. unlike other fish that take a while to acclimate themselves. these little guy immediately started stuffing their little faces
definitely a great addition so far very cute. not to mention I have been wanting to get my hands on microglanis for oooo I think a year now. only regret is that the others at the store where too skinny to take home. I would love to try a bumblebee cat themed tank might be fun.

cool
any pics to share? a story of the "cool new fish I got" without pics is not unlike an alcohol-and-music-free party

I'm planning on getting some too.
Thought they were adorable in the pet store.. they were hiding on top of each other.

Actually, I think they are hding UNDER each other - they like to hide - I had forgotten mine when I was making space in a tank, and I found 7 that I hadn't seen since last time I moved them, more or less (the move was about 10 months ago).

I guess the muse of rhetorics paid me a visit... for one fleeting moment... but I did not mean to bash Nico. I like Nico. He is cool.

That may "slightly" complicate photographing them

The word "woot" in the title of the post was used as, say, "yippee!"
"I got a new Microglanis!! Yay, Yahoo, etc.

a-a-a, the punctuation... right... I'm stumbled by puctuation again... i should have thought about the punctuation or rather the absense thereof...

pardon I didnt realize my "woot" would start such a contreversy among fish keepers.....
just say it outloud and you will see, it is like "ahhhhhhh" or "ouch"
well I would like to report on my little guys. two of them have lighter coloration like that you would see on m. iheringii, as well as the mark on the dorsal fin. I realize they are probably not iheringii
as for pictures I really wish I could, but as you (my fellow catfish enthusiasts know) these little guys are not exactly photogenic. tho I must say they are movie stars compared to my A. pectinifrons who I have not seen in + a month I believe.
they have all taken residence under a rock and one of them seized the small house the spotted raphy had a tendency to hide in
they dart out of their house for food always hugging close to the sides of the rocks/cover
very interesting little fish
I hope to make a species only tank for the as I have taken a liking to the
on that note
her is your photographic evidence of my purchase

I read all your comments regarding "woot" I have to say they made me "ROFLOL"
to be honest I didn't know any of these terms until fairly recently. I used to never use facebook/email (I have 3,000+ unread messages on my email) etc.
lately I like to think that I have become a native inhabitant to the internet, with all of its slang. however, I do not like to abbreviate. I am awful at English I do not need to further ruin my essays with "cause" or "u"
jaja (spanish speaker haha) I read over my post and my writing was strange I must have been exited for the little cats
ill try not to cause more confusion amongst the older folk
im kidding I respect/envy you, mostly for your fish/knowledge I don't know any of you

Nice vid, really.
From my humble end: using punctuation results in clearer writing even if using slang, abbreviations, what not... Not using punctuation discriminates against slow-witted, non-native-speaker folk like me, not necessarily old folks

I apologize for my punctuation. If you are going to pull up the English as a second language card then so will I. I try to use punctuation, but unfortunately I am awful at it. I've been working on it for English class. i'm more of a math/science person. You should have seen my essays a couple years ago (no periods or commas etc.)
sorry, I will try harder in the future
on another note. I have been observing them closer they seem to favor dark hiding spots more so than snug holes. they also stick to "paths" that run around the rocks in their territories.
I'm sorry if this is a known fact, but is it known how they breed? I was trying to look it up online, but I found that they are very hard to breed. I would think they are cave spawners.
(sorry If I offended. I hope you realize the "older folk" comment was a joke in response to the mule thing.)
