I am just wonder I have a tank which I am just setting up which I plan on housing only Albino Aeneus Corys in. I have read that they have poor eye site and that they do not like bright light. I am intending on putting artificial plants in so that I do not have to worry about plant lighting requirements. With that in mind what would be the best sort of lighting be for Albino Cory’s I was wondering if a low powered red coloured light would be good? Does any one know if there is a particular colour which the corys would find most natural and comfortable? Should I use a blue moon light bulb?

I believe most catfish have relatively poor eye-sight [except perhaps for certain predators].

To use the fact that many albino humans have poor eye-sight due as a side-effect of the albinism is probably quite a big leap of faith with regards to what albino corys can/can't see.

I've never heard of anyone using any DIFFERENT lights simply because they have albino corys, or that certain types of light is better for albino vs. regular corys. Low light levels are certainly beneficial for most corys, as they seem to prefer the shady areas of the tank, and if you have less overall lighting, that means less areas that they will "dislike because they think it's very bright".
