At what size are Scleromystax barbatus saleable?

Hi All

Looking for a bit of advice and testing interest.

My first lot of babies are now about 3 months old. They are a pretty solid 3-3.5 cms long and colouring up nicely. As I've never bred cories previously, I'm looking for a bit of advice as to at what size they are saleable, if there is any interest from PC members and what the consensus is as to their value.

Any input gratefully received.

I'd say they are possible to sell at that size...

My answer to myself on this subject is, "Would I feel happy to receive them for the price I paid". If the answer is yes then they are large enough to sell

I'd be interested in some of these Rick, these have always been my favourite 'cory'.
When you are ready to sell, and have a price in mind, let me know and we'll go from there.
Cheers
Martin

Thanks fellas. I'll try a post some pics tonight and you can see what you think. I'd love some of them to go to PC members.

There's a mixture of ages/sizes but it's the larger ones we're talking about:

What do you think?

I've raised and sold a fair few corys including this species and I'd say they were big enough to trade and to sell at auctions etc. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable selling them to a shop at that size though. This is a fast growing species and is worth more when larger so would be worth growing on for another month or two I feel if you have the space.

Price is obviously difficult but I'd be wanting at least £5 for a bag of two of those at auction. I've seen them go for double that at that size though.

Thanks Mummymonkey, that's really helpful. So let's say £2.50 each for 6 or more, ex-works Watford (!) if anyone is interested.

I'd like 4 (just to be awkward :)) )
Only thing is arranging collection as am moving home this weekend so am going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks. Will sort something out once I'm in, tanks are moved and sorted (marine and freshwater)...
