I bought some Synos which were labelled up leopard Synodontis having now looked for them on here im struggling, i realise they are still very young but here are some photos if you could help please.
Also bought what were labelled as Julii which naturaly are Trilineatus

Sorry I can't help much. The leopard Synodontis is a hybrid, but can't remember what the parent species are. Hopefully one of the experts can chime in with more info.

leopard or jaguar synos are hybrids - parents vary, usually include multipunctata, decora, euptera, ocellifer, etc. From hundreds of syno hybrid discussions on here, it does not appear worthwhile or needed to trace the lineage - 99.99% say you will never know short of dna analysis
yours is a hybrid, I'd guess - in my humble experience, no genuine syno would have fins, esp dorsal and caudal, patterned like that

Yes, definately a hybrid...Rift cat crossed with ocellifer maybe ...I would suppose this would be useful if one wanted to know a possible final size and temperment.
Here is our hybrid thread, if you do not see yours in there you could add it to that thread (please).
