Can I keep a group of 5
Corydoras panda with a pair of
Peckoltia compta?
I thought it might work, because the L numbers are more interested in things like bloodworm and tablets than algae and small flakes, but I wanted to check before I buy.

I wouldn't put C. panda in with P. compta. The C. panda will like cooler temperatures than you want for the P. compta. There are several other corys, such as C. sterbai, C. similis or C. metae (or C. robineae) are in my experience tolerant of temperatures around 27'C for long periods of time.
