L201

Post by Amy »

Any hands on expereice with L201 Plecos?

What are they like to keep?

Are they attractive looking?

What is the max size they grow to?

I have read 4.7"

Some of your questions should be answered here:

Clearly, whether something/someone is attractive looking is a subjective matter...

I have no hands on experience, but there are a number of keepers in the Cat-eLog, so I'm sure someone will help out if you have further questions.

I responded on you L46 thread that I had L201, perhaps you didn't see it. You'd be hard pressed to see a 4.7" L201. The biggest I've seen is 3.5" or so (standard length - not including tail).

my first post I think!

I just recieved a group of 5 WC 201 this week. They are a very good looking fish.

I just got into the Hypancistrus of late and so far, they seem easy to please if you do a little research.

Go for it!

I have a group of 5 for about 1 year now. Nice looking when you see them. Not very active. They've grown but I never see them come out to eat. I like my L200group the most. Good looking and always out.
