Keeping L134 with L46 with many caves & hiding places?

If you can see the eat properly, yes. I would be afraid that the would be more aggressive feeder, and eat all the food, leaving nothing for the more shy H. zebra.

Hi

It is some thing I would not risk

As with all fish keeping the element of risk is going to be there.

From my point L134 is quite a aggressive fish amongst its own species, scrapings and general aggression are common I have had a male L134 kill a female L134 because she was not willing to "Play".
L 046 can also be the same at times “Killer” males are not uncommon.
Cave fights would be almost guaranteed at some point.

The issues I would have are also feeding L 134 can be a rather pushy feeder and L046 is known to be timid at times.
Again it is only my opinion but I would not risk it .

Far better have them in two tanks and try to spawn them.

Hi mate I keep my Peckoltia compta with my three Hypancistrus zebars
for months no problems in fact they allways stayed close together
I have never seen any signs of the L134 being aggressive but that's not to say
there not ! Anyway I would not risk it I would keep the Zebars on there own
and not mix them with any other fish but that's just me.
I keep my L134 with a Parancistrus nudiventris and they are very good tank mates.
