how to stop this "search-and-replace"?

Post by kgroenhoej »

when I'm trying to post an url with the word pleco in the name the "e" gets replaced with a "*" and the url is not working. How do I post an url with the word pleco?
Is it possible to disable this "search-and-replace" when posting messages?
I guess that the answer to this question should be in the faq.

The link itself works, it just appears starred out in the post.

That link, BTW, is to a non-existent domain, and shows VeriSign's new cyber-squatting behavior. Quite disgusting...

Hi Rusty,

did you ever find the "star-out"-bug in messages?
