Just wondered what happened to him - his posts and photographs were a regular thing on PC, but since March/April this year, he's not been on or posted.
Did I miss something?

Thanks Rick, but seeing that thread was what prompted me to ask. There is nothing in there to indicate the reasons for his 'disappearance', unless I missed something.

Well, as he hasn't been online since April 2010, so I doubt he'd see any message from me. I suppose I could email him if he has enabled the email link, but I don't know him personally, it was really just an observation.
Whatever he is doing, I hope he is still enjoying/expanding his aquaria, and contines to take superb pictures of his fish and tanks.

I understand entirely. One the other hand, if someone wrote to me (pm or email) saying they like my stuff and miss me at PC, I'd be pleased, encouraged, and thrilled... This is also how some great friendships may start, I'd imagine...

I googled him, and find out that his activity in the Internet (on the other forums) was broken off in Spring 2010. The same like here:(

I just checked our norwegian forums to see his last activity and its the date 09.04.10. his last post there was i march.

If that happened on all forums he's registered to, that doesn't sound very good. I hope nothing bad happened to him.

I miss him as well. he was always a woot to talk to and would always be willing to lend his knowlege with all. Hope all is well with him.

yes I ve googled him too and can't find any forum activity since Sept, also same on Jon aka Cup.

Maybe they are on an extensive trip in SA where they do not have access to the internet.... and they are discovering soo many new species they don't want to speak with us..

Any news on Haavard yet?

I spoke to Ole Paulsen at the L-number days, and he said that Haavard is working on a fish-shop in Norway. Don't know why he's no longer posting here.
