Hi,

What fish do you give leporacanthicus/pseudacanthicus species for food?
Do you boil the fish first?

Greetings

Any marine white fish would be fine. Not necessary to boil it. If you use freshwater fish, you do want to boil it, just in case it's got some sort of parasites in the flesh that transfer - that's why I suggested marine fish, as there are extremely few parasites that transfer from fish to fish between marine and freshwater.

Also make sure you feed some vegetable/fibre food together with the fish.

The most easy - and best - wat to do that is to feed not the fillets, but the rest. Fillets are muscles. That is, rather rich in protein, but nothing else.

If you like to watch nature films, you may have noted lions and so start eating the gut of the prey: that's where the vitamins and minerals are: the undigested food the prey has in its gut

You could - if you eat fish (I can't) - make your own fillets and dispose of the remains into your tank
