Hi,
hard to say. But I think it is L 400. They are very variable, and L 400 could be an absolute stunning beauty.
In my opinion - all these new imported fish comes around Belo Monte. That means - L 287, L 400, L 399 mixed. Perhaps some L 236, but this type is very hard to distance from other variants. I personally don't belive in the Iriri - story.

I agree with the Iriri theory but I do not agree that these are L400, though it is very logical due to their collection point. Last year I also bought L236 from the Iriri and they didn't look as close as the pictures posted.
It is often so much easier to import known species but we will never have a chance to introduce new ones to the hobby.
How about the small percentage of the L236 theory among L333, L400, L287, L399? I'll take the small percentage.
