I've seen it being called "Para Pleco" (not a particularly evocative name).

by Loricariidae Wholesales
The true L75 comes from the Para state in Brazil hence the name para plec. The true Para plec has a pale sandy brown body with big brown body spots and smaller brown spots on its head, the distinguishing feature is large spots on its RED dorsal and RED caudal fins. There are 3 other fish often called L75.
1. L124 this has a sandy brown body with spotting the same as the L75 but with brown fins.
2. L163 this is very similar to L124 but lacks the spots on its brown fins.
3. L? a very beautiful fish from Venezuela, this fish is very similar to the true L75 except its' body is almost white, showing much more of a contrast with the spots. Its dorsal and caudal fins are also red with spots.
If you tell me which you have I will give you a little more information on it.

I've just bought a L124 - the shop said it was a L075. What they did say was that it liked bloodworm and didn't really go for algae or veggies. Thought this might help!

Thanks! And he DOES like bloodworms, I just so happened to give him some last night (he had to fight the loaches for them though
)
