Hello,

Have one question is there any posibility to keep l333 with panaque maccus(l104)? Will they cooperate in my 120cm X 40cm tank? Ph around 7.0, temperatur 27-28°C.

The L-104 are pretty docile creatures. Although I did see them head butting over a piece of zucchini last evening.

Maybe check out the cat-elog entry for both fish? It'll also tell you the desired water temperature and more info for both species. Pretty handy when working out if and when to add a certain species to your existing population.

personally i would think on temperament, it would be okay.

but because L104 are vegetarian and L333 liking a meatier diet, i wouldnt think it would be a good combo.

Well, both species like neutral ph so that wouldn't be problem.

L333 like temperature 27-29, and l104 23-28.
Will be the problem with feeding? Know that l333 love meaty food, that's way i feed them with quality tablets, artemia, and others. But i read article about panaque maccus breeding, and they say that occasionally they can be feed with artemia, ofcourse prefer wood, and some vegetables, also i think if they can choose between, cucumber and for example artemia, they will take that first? Ah need some advise :P

The problem that DJ is referring to is to restrict the intake of meat for the Panaque and get enouogh meat in for the Hypancistrus.
