Otocinclus spawning habits

Hi, I have something of a mystery. I noticed today some sort of small egg sac on the underside of a leaf(bacopa). It's a small 13l tank and the leaf is near the top of the tank.

The only inhabitants of the tank are a pair of Endler's Livebearers, Two otocinclus affinus and a single snail (malaysian trumpet or similar).

So this egg-sac thing is either the creation of the snail or the otos, but I was under the impression that this kind of snail is a livebearer (though I'm often very misinformed).

If it turns out to be the otos any tips or advice?

Is it a clump of eggs, or is it actually an egg sac (egg enclosed in another structure). AFAIK, egg-laying teleosts do not enclose their eggs in a separate structure.
