WTB Captive raised Corydoras Adolfoi

Anyone currently breeding / selling adolfoi fry? I'm interested in a group of captive raised fish not wild caught. Any information would be great.

Is there any particular reason you want captive bred fish? I'm just curious to understand why you are asking for that specifically...
I know some people have the opinion that we should not capture fish from nature. And from "the best for the individual fish", I agree. It is most stresfull for the fish to travel long distances.
The other thought some people have is that there is a risk that fish are being made extinct by fishing for the trade. I have spoken to several people who have been to South America, and none of these people are of the opinion that there is even a remote risk that the fish be made extinct by fishing for the trade - sure, there are a small number of very attractive fish that are so rare and restricted in distribution that they are at risk. But these are a small number, compared to the vast majorit of the fish. And there is the other side of this coin: If the local people are earning money by catching fish, they see a value in being able to catch the fish in the rivers - this means that they see an overall value in the river, and they get real income from this. If we buy fish from the breeders in Florida or South East Asia, then the local fisherman in South America will not get any money for catching fish in the river. He (or she) will then have to find some other source of money: Digging for gold (destroys rivers), cutting down rainforest (rain forest and destroys rivers) or moving somewhere else (destroys the local population).
Of course, the other reason, that they are possibly more easy to breed.
Sorry for the rant, but I think there is a bit of misunderstanding when it comes to wild-caught vs. captive bred fish.
