Hi!!

for me you have a pair, female on the right, the pelvic fins look smaller on the fish on the right!!

My Ancistini L127 are a definite pair.

They spawned last week when I was out of home on my vacation and yesterday I got out of cave more than 20 fries.

nvcichlids, I remember your L127 breeding thread. It was quite interesting. I noticed that this species doesn't belong to often breed list, In-spite that it isn't hard to breed. I hope your pair is still in your tank and it is OK:)

They are not, I gave them to a friend within my local fish club to try to keep and breed. He had a 125 gallon and they were the only bottom dwellers in the tank so they had plenty of territory.

kouen, thanks. I purchased my Ancistrini sp. L127 in August 2008 in size 4 cm. So it passed almost 3 years. And I noticed that they were matured an year ago, but spawned when I moved them from 100 l. into 270 l. tank.

I have a similar experience, but I got mine at approx. 7cm. So they were already adults, but it took them a year to get adapted and then it was like clockwork.
