What a sex ratio in Scleromystax barbatus?

Hello, I would like to add more females to my breeding group of Barbatus (3 males : 6 females), but I am not sure if the males are able to keep up with the females' sex appetite. I have read that some people have only 1 male in a group of many females - and it works well. What's your experience? In my large tank (100 cm long, 65 cm wide), the males often fight each other and hence I rather reduced their number from 4 to 3.

I have done best over the years with pairs. If you would like, two females to one male is fine as well.Mark

I've done them well in 1 male-2 females ratios.

we have a group of about 10-15 in one tank, not sure as Andy has moved them around and added a few more, i will have to check them, i think there is more males than female.

They have been in their new tank now for a week and have gone and spawned the other day in three different areas of the tank. Their in a 3 foot x 15" x 15" tank which is bigger than they had before.

Hi. I have found that with my barbatus that one maturemale is best. I have had deaths of male cory barbatus from fighting between males, which is rare with most other corys.

I have been thinking about getting some Scleromystax Barbatus, but where I am at none is available. That is Nevada, USA. Would they be any available?

I have spawned a couple of the easier corys and would like to try some of these.
