I have one.
Its mouth width is only 20% of its total length fornow, a food hog,and peacefull

you DO know that usually in the creation of hybrids the parental fish die because they don't survive the injected hormones for very long nor the squeezing out of eggs and roe?

wich means they killed a wildcaught granulosus to create this little horror.
injected with toxic waste and squeezed to death

wich doesn't make it cute to me, just painful.

Still, for the sake of having full info, they are described here, AFAIU. But the description appears very limited, not even parents are indicated, just that it is a hybrid and assigned a #.

I, for one, am with you and wish it was different and hybrids are given a fair space in the name of education, at least, if nothing else.

THanks victor. Its funny they do the same to salmon here in California, but not to make hybrids, but to farm the species so we don't rely on the wild poulation for salmon. I don't see why these farms in asia and south america would breed the parent species also, due to having to rely on catching wild specimens would inmy opionion waste a lot of time. Mainly due to fishing isn't always succesful even when pulling a net behind a boat.
