arcuatus - super arcuatus

I have noticed that the super arcuatus cost almost 20 times more then the normal arcuatus.

guess it´s more rare?
Can anyone tell me more about the two corys, rivers ect

I think it's just a combination that they are newer and bigger.

There were some HUGE ones at Amwell Aquatics a few weeks ago. Biggest Corys I've ever seen, probably around 4" TL and really chunky, similar to a decent size B multiradiatus. About £25 each I think.

Regular C. arcuatus is from the Loreto area in Peru and a large area reaching into Ecuador as well. According to Fuller & Evers, the Super Arcuatus comes from the Purus river, which is further south in the western part of Brazil. I will add this to the occurrence data for Super Arcuatus.

Big corydoras are very impressive.
But the prices is little to high yet.

The much larger similar looking species known as 'Super arcuatus' have the CW- number CW036 and have been reported as growing in excess of 16 cm SL. However as far as I am aware no specimens of these proportions have entered the aquarium hobby.
