4 cm (1.5 in) orangy top, black stripe on side, white under

Hi There,
This little guy was a rescue along with a Hoplosternum littorale (thanks CrayonALX with your post "Rescued a Catfish..." and responders!). As you can tell by the subject line, it's about 4 cm (1.5 in), it's got an orangy back, a black stripe along its side, and white under belly. Not sure if it's common for catfish or fish in general or maybe this type? (this is my first time keeping fish), but it changed colour from a dark grey/ brown to the colour it is now after cleaning its tank and giving them some new surroundings.
