Will the MTS eat pleco eggs? I have a bunch in with my 201's and 134's and have always had small hatch rates. Could this be why? Both breeding groups are in 55 gallon tanks with a few tetras. Water parameters are excellent and water changes are twice weekly so everything is fine there. Both groups have and are breeding I would just like to get a better success rate.
Thanks Mark

Re: Malaysian Trumpet Snails and pl*co Eggs
I breed L134 and their tank has plenty of MTS.
I suggest setting up each species in it's own 20 long and maybe keep some Cherry shrimp going with them but no other fish. The first days or so out of the cave the small fry are fairly tender and even Tetras could harm them and these fry do not compete for food well enough to be kept with other fish until they are at least a month or 6 weeks old. Their mass should have quadrupled by then and they may be kept with small tetras like Green Neons although I would recommend only the shrimp..
