need help identify skin disorder on 333

Post by plecotac »

Hi guys, cant believe this is happening.

I moved a pair of 333 in a new tank. This tank was matured first and I am using filter with active bio media (from old tank). Last water parameter check was 0 ammonia 0 nitrite.

Approximately 2-3 days after I moved them into this tank, I notice skin discoloration and it kinda ugly.

The male has skin discoloration around its belly and the female has some white patches with some dots. I thought the dots are ich but i am not too sure.

I have moved them from that tank into 2 ft hospital tank and currently treating them with pimafix 5 ml a day. The treatment has been going for 3 days now. This tank is run by a sponge filter.
