My Custom Driftwood 75g Glass Build

Hello all! Just wanted to share my work... I bought a leaking 75g for $50 and turned it into this...

Thanks everybody! Yeah I did a complete tear-down and rebuild myself. Here's a quick run through, if you want anymore details just let me know.

When I picked it up-

Cut all the out silicone out and scraped down the glass-

All taped up and ready to silicone-

After siliconing it back together-

I built a top brace out of 1x2's to keep the top from bowing-

I cut some sections off a driftwood stump I found and siliconed them in place-

nice job,im assuming your silicon sealer is fish friendly,its just ive never seen it sold in packs of 4 before.
lots of room for your plec now.

That cutting and gluing of of the wood with silicone is very cool. I plan to do that myself with wood and rocks in my next big build. :D

Yup! Its GE Silicone 1. Its totally fish-safe and the strongest, cheapest, most available (by me anyway)...

Yeah, he's licking his chops looking across the room at all that extra tank waiting for him...
