Hello,
I have some L-075 looking very spawn worthy.(1 male 1 female)
i put them in a 75 Gal with driftwood and caves.
i have read here that current over the cave or spawn site was recommended.
I have a powerhead facing downward on one of caves openings.
Is this direction suitable? or- should the water flow from the back to the front of the cave?
Thanks,
Jay

Re: current and caves
A common suggestion is to put a power-head on the back wall of the tank, facing the front of the tank. But flow going along for example the front of the tank, across the opening of the cave may also be appreciated by the fish.

Re: current and caves
OK,
Should i put the cave in the middle of the tank or closer to the sides?, also which way should i place the opening of the cave.? I have an Aquaclear 802 facing down (using rigid tubing) on the opening of the cave from the side of the tank.
I have spawned a few different pl*cos and have found that cave and current placement were different for each type of pl*co. I am asking specifically of the placement of caves and current with regard to this particular pl*co. L-075 any takers?
Thanks,
Jay
