L114 Male or Female?

Hi
I have had this Pseudacanthicus cf. leopardus for some years, bought in 2004 as a youngster
- Young L114
and it have got some size, 16-18 cm TL, now I am wondering if it is a male or a female
- L114
I have no shots from above. Is it possible to say anything regarding the sex of the animal? I am leaning a bit towards a female myself according to the size of the belly
but I haven't seen enough L114 to judge.

I would think female as well. But I'm by far not certain. What size is the fish now?

I would say it's a female too....its pectoral length is short...

Well so far it seems that we agree that it is a possible female
Mats, it's around 16-18 cm TL.

At that size female should be a safe bet ;). Very nice fish!

Well, thanks Barbie I agree that ...she... looks beautiful
, a little bad tempered around feeding time but that is Ok. Next plan must be to get her a male and hope that 530 l will suffice.
