Cory tank

Post by sammich »

I'm getting a 55 gallon tank for my birthday, and I was originally planning on it being an oscar tank, but I've changed my mind-I want it to be a cory tank now. What would be a good amount of cories to put in the tank? I'm also putting in a pleco, which is about 7 inches long right now. I'm thinking around 25 or 30 cories would work.
Out of all the fish I could have purchased, I got one that sucks-a pleco.

this is my first reply but that makes no difference
i have a cory cat tank myself and in a 55g you could but in about...25 cory cats and think about getting a smaller size pleco, like a clown, they get only 4-6'' and thats easier than a 9'' one.
fishkeeping is an art, a science and a way of life.
