i was feeding my malapterurus electricus lastnight and i was feeding it w large earthworm and he tooking from my hand and as i was holding the other end i felt this tingle in my fingers (sort of like when you where a kid and put a 9volt battery on your tongue), has any one else had this happen too them or have they had a bad shock?

I had this happen to me regularly with my first e-cat. Always gave me a rather strong shock (a jolt like the sort you get from wall outlets) when it nuzzled up to my hand for food.
I stopped putting my hand in the tank soon after.

and now your hair still curls, HH?
I've had one once in a bag under my sweater against my belly.
You might ask why I did it, well: me and my cousin once picked one up. We were riding his bike (an old Honda), and he drove, I was the idiot who had to keep the fish warm (it can get cold on a motor).

I really took his head off once we stopped! that cat was stressed, the bag was moist on the outside too, and I just experienced the same thing one can when weeing on a barbed electrical fence.....several times.....

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, or on a motorbike either

      :D

I still feel the shame (& pain) of a 'dare' many many years ago to pick up a little 2-3 incher.

Please learn from my stupidity & don't try this :-O

Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!
