How many Hara Jerdoni should be kept in a 29 gallon tank?

I was considering purchasing Hara Jerdoni for my 29G aquarium.
Tankmates would be Corydoras aeneus (6), and Nannostomus Eqeus (1). Are Hara Jerdoni solitary in nature? How many would be suitable for my aquarium?
Any advice on specific care/requirements?

skip on the Corydoras!

Hara's are very slow eaters. and Corydoras will be severe foodcompetition.

with fish like Hara's, it's best if there are few or no other catfishes in there. otherwise they will starve to death

I agree with Sid - these are slow moving fish & need to be without any competition for food (from cats or any other active fish)

Usually, I don't mix jerdoni with cory's; although I have found that the larger mothcats will happily compete for food with cory's.

However, I manage to pick up a group of 4 last year at auction, I put them in a hospital tank, but two died within a few days.
After a couple of months I needed the hospital tank, but I didnt have a empty species tank for them and as they were both males I moved then into a 14 gallon (UK) tank which house a small group of Poecilia wingei a couple of baby Sterisoma panamense (25mm,left over from a spawning) and four . The two jerdoni were out feeding last night!

IMHO I have found if one wants to keep mothcats for any considerable time it is best to feed them on a varied live food diet, they tend to fade away over time if fed commercially prepared dry foods, such as tablet or crushed flake. Although they will take frozen bloodworm.

I have also in a 22 gallon tank thats has a trio of Devario sondhi, three , four , a pair of, , two and "two" ;
These have happily co-habitated now for 7 or 8 months.
