What kind of Synodontis is this? Hybrid?

The eye is not red... that's just from the flash. I'm guessing it is a cross of maybe a eupterus and an ocellifer? I have 2 of them and they are both 5-6" long and completely mature.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's a hybrid.
We really should have a picture of this one in the Cat-eLog. Anyone got a good photo [or know who has one] that we can add? E-mail to mats at planetcatfish dot com.

This seems most likely, without being there at the time of conception it is always an educated guess at best.
A better picture would be great for the Ca-eLog

Or getting reliable information from the breeder - but I believe they are not interested in sharing that information.
