Hey all, saw an article on these guys recently and they look like exactly what im looking for. Anyone have any idea of anywhere that might sell them, or occasionally get them in in the UK?
Cheers for any info

Doesn't seem like they are easy to find, tropicalfishfinder doesn't have them listed at all. Martin S (who is on holiday for another few days) is listed as a owner in the Cat-eLog. Not sure where he got it from - although reading the Cat-eLog again, they say it's often sold as Opsodoras stuebeli, which is listed at Wholesale Tropicals in London - whether that is D. punctatus or not, I don't know.

Awesome, thanks very much! Looks to be pretty similar, and they seem to get to the same size and have the same temperament so I could live with either.
On a side note, any idea if theyd be shrimp eaters? Ive got some Ammano shrimp in their intended tank, and dont know if I should move them to another tank. Ideally Id prefer to keep them there though.
Thanks again for your help

Wholesale Tropicals have definately had them in stock in the recent past. I have seen them about in a few places but i've tended to only remember the locations of stuff i'm more interested in - sorry - my bad
They shouldn't be too difficult to track down though...i, & maybe others will keep you posted on what we see...

Hi!!
I had been searching for these for quite a while too..
Finally found 4 of these in France, Iktus-aqua had received them under the name of Ospodoras as well!!
Very nice and hardy fish!!
Cheers

My single specimen has become much more active since moving the tank. I managed to catch some photos at the weekend, and with my new tank arriving any day, might try and get some more to keep it company. I remember (I think it was) Richard saying he'd seen them on one of the shop trips a while back and I'd dithered about them.
If anyone sees or knows of any, please let me know.
I'd also like at least one more
- both these Doras came as one-offs from NHA via my LFS.
Thanks
Martin

Try:

Steve was selling some at the end of last year (as Opsodoras).

Thanks Steve - much appreciated.
[EDIT]
Just spoken to AquaLife - they have 4 left, body size 2.5-3", and priced at £10.99 each.
I may be tempted to try and get 2 of the 4 for myself...

Steve from Aqualife is the auctioneer at the CSG auction on the 20th September. I'm sure he would bring them along for you so if you know anybody heading up to that it may be a convenient way of you getting hold of them.

Yes, I know - I need to get to you anyway before the 20th to drop the tank off for Richard - may have to be an evening as am busy this weekend, and then the following weekend is the show. I'd love to get 2 more, but not sure when I'll be able to collect from you...
As always, thanks.
