Anyways I'm new to breeding oranger lasers. I got them from a breeder in IL who told me they are a proven group they are about 2 inch. Been about 4 months but I can't get them to spawn the temp is at 75 F and I usally drop it to about 70 in about every 3 days with water changes and heavy feeding of blackworms. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

It is VERY hard to figure out what someone is doing wrong when it comes to making fish breed. It takes just one thing being wrong - I doubt that Green Laser is different from other corys, so good water, good feeding and the right temperature would be the foundation. Then we have to look at more complex issues where it's much harder to say "right" or "wrong" about what you are doing, such as tank furniture and plants, as well as lighting, tank position, water chemistry and other such things.

Hi,
I breed Green Lasers and they are very fussy about there habitat and water quality
I keep them in a 120 liter tank with lots of wood and plants and sand. The temperature ranges from 20 to 28 degrees, there is no heathing in the tank in the summer so it heats up and cools down with the outside atmosfere
They seem to like this very much. Mine are also strickt seasonal breeders, they have only started spawning again last week
What works for me is a low PH (6-6,5), no nitrate and half osmose water to drop conducivity.
But......saying all this. I also have Red Shoulder lasers for over a year now. They have not spawned ones
So
You just have to try I think
Good luck!!!!!
