Hi,
the Scobi should be Scobinancistrus sp. "L 253".
A lot of those came in lately from Brazil.

Hi,
..hate to "spoil the party", but the fish in question actually looks like an Ancistrus sp. to me. If you threaten my life, I would guess it might be what was known as Ancistrus sp. "Blauauge" (Blueeye) here in Germany, which was later found to be identical to an L-Number which I can´t remember.
Anyway, I believe it´s a completely black Ancistrus sp.
Cheers, Sandor

Definitely in the
genus. And not a Hypostomus ex-Cochliodon.

I think that there is LDA31 or L204.

Almost certainly not LDA31 or L204. Or if it is, it's the melanistic form of (completely black form).

could it be a young suttoni or cochliodon?
i know they are rare, but heard something about one of the two species being more available lately?
