herbivores

Are there any scavengers of note that do not predate fry or take advantage of fish that sleep on the bottom.
Must be small enough to live peacefully in 5 and 10G tanks. Shrimp and snails are getting boring. I have on BN and she seems fine. But she is in a juvie grow out tank, no fry.
Thanks

I tend to put baby bristlenoses or Sturisoma in my fry grow-out tanks. But that's because I have easy access to them.

I have not seen predate on anything. Sure, they will eat fish that is already dead, as will most things.

Or corydoras - as long as they aren't too big in comparison to the fry.

MATS,
Thank you so much!!!! Ancistrus cf_cirrhosus is the female I have, now I know what to find in a male- anybody have one?
So, these are safe with fry? Good. My otos have started to die of old age, I guess. I will get a few more now.

:D :D
