How many Cories of each species.

How many cories of a single species should I have per aquarium?
I mean, I have a large ceramic pot as an aquarium and placed 5 albino Bronze Cories and 2 Julie Cories. Was wondering whether they would need to school or whether the Albinos would school with the Julies.

I tend to buy at least 5 of each species. If possible (financially, stocking of the tank, availability in the shop, etc), I get a few more. In nature, they live in shoals of hundreds or even thousands, so as long as the tank is not overstocked, there is probably no upper limit.

So, would I need more Julies? Or would they school with the Bronze?

Depends on how you look at it. I'd say yes, you want to have at the very least 5 of each. I suspect your "julii" are actually
, by the way.

Yes, that's the species. So would adding 2 more suffice?

"suffice" for what. Obvously, more is better...

Ok, thank you for the advice. Will try and see whether I can go for the additional ones anytime soon.

5 of each of your two species is a nice arrangement although I prefer a larger group of a single species per tank.
This is mainly because I like to keep each species in breeding groups.
Just two species groups are the most I would recommend. At least that way you will be able to observe the differences between the species behaviors. Many Corydoras will tend to mainly stay closely associated with their own species.
To me, one of the worst things many do, imo, is to buy 1 or 2 of many species for one tank. Just a hodge podge collection of unrelated species.
This is not anywhere close to their occurrences their native biotopes.

I'll keep that in mind, but considering that my pot is a community pot, I can't hope to breed them. I've got a Siamese Fighter, 3 long-finned leopard/zebra danios, and some Guppies in there.
Still, I'll get more of the Julies.
One more question, will normal/Long-Fin Bronze cories school with their Albino counterparts?
