Science News: Bagridae - Bagrichthys majusculus

Post by Silurus »

Synopsis by Shane Linder

A new lancer, B. majusculus is described from Indochina. This new species is similar to B. macracanthus and B. vaillantii. This is an attractive new lancer species from the Mekong. It can be differentiated from B. macracanthus by its larger adipose fin, deeper caudal peduncle, and more slender head. An import to dream about!
