Added another family of fishes...

Post by MatsP »

I happend upon some "False" or "Dwarf" giraffe cats in my LFS. Not exactly the most common thing, so I decided to get both of the two they had in stock...

No photos yet, as they I only released them a good hour or so ago.

oooh that's cool! Giraffe cats are usually huge so this could be interesting.

Did you add them to cat-e-log or just to your collection? I want to see a picture

Don't they still grow to 12"?

I think I've heard that somewhere.

According to the shop, it is according to the shop, so 7.9"SL - and I see no indication of it being something else, although I must confess that I don't have any experience with them.

Well, if anyone wants some, my "local" shop is Lynchford Aquatics, and they said that they were going to get some more in, as they are "unusual and intersting" - they only got two in to see that they weren't the ones that grow to 12" (or more).
