Mats has previously written
"Reducing the size can be done in any reasonable photo editing software. If you haven't got one, google for "IrfanView" - it's a really simple photo editor - it hasn't got a lot of features, but it does the basic stuff like resizing (you can even resize ALL images in a directory as a batch), simple colour changes (make it brighter/darker/more or less contrast, gamma adjustment and colour balancing)."
& Oldman quoted
"If you have the MS Office software, it includes a picture editor that works great when you select "resize". You can even open a picture with Paint and resize it by going to "Image" "Attributes" and using the size that it displays. Only use these tools with a copy of your picture or you will mess up your original and reduce its sharpness. Once you are working with a copy, you can do anything you want and if it messes up, go make another copy to play with and delete the ruined one."
Hope this helps - ps Take the caps lock off so text is NOT ALL UPPER CASE as this is considered a bit rude as it is shouting - it's a common mistake

Welcome to Planet Catfish, Susan.
It appears that the advice given has solved your problem, as you have posted some pictures in the ID forum.
I hope you don't mind that I split your post from the other thread.
