Hi All,

I purchased some Corydoras eques. The fish I got do not look like pictures of them that I have seen on the web, can someone help me out? This is what I received. (I will try to get some better pictures this weekend).

These might be C. nanus instead.

Yeap it is Corydoras napoensis...
Funny how you bought these under the same wrong name I bought mine...thousands of miles apart...

Why not c. undulatus?

Because the body is too long to be C. undulatus (the adipose fin is much nearer the dorsal fin in C. undulatus).

Ok, I'll agree with that!!

If you want a challenge, see my new thread!! There are 2 supposedly different corys from the same supplier and I'll be damned if I can see any difference!!

Just wish to clarify something, that cory does not have a black blotch on its dorsal fins and no banding at the caudal fins, how to tell it is a napo, clar to elaborate! Thanx!
