Long time no see...
What do you think of this
Aspidoras? Comes from NE Brazil, more specifically from the middle of CearĂ¡ State, far from Crato. I'm thinking on
A. carvalhoi, but not sure. Any thougths?
Best regards.
Daniel.

Aspidoras rochai is another possibility, based on locality alone.

You're probably right... Since
A. carvalhoi comes from Guaramiranga and region (high, colder, relictual rainforest area).
Is there any place we could find a diagnosis on this species? I saw the thumbnail of the
A. rochai pic on CorydorasWorld (not a member there), and it seems very close to this fish, including the dorsal fin pattern... But I'm not sure of it.
Never thought it would be so difficult to find pics of a little fishie that is so common here... But it seems this species is mostly overlooked by hobbyists and LFSs here.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi. Lately, to me, everything looks like C118, however I do not now the collection point or range of this specie - so, as usual, I could be way off the mark. Just a thought.

Just going by the colour pattern alone I would put it close to A. dipinnai. I am not sure how far it's natural range is.
