I think so.....Schilbe sp have a small adipose fin which your species lacks - but if S.Intermedius comes from the Igombe drainage it apparantly lacks the adipose!

Actually,
S. intermedius without an adipose fin is more widespread than the ones with an adipose fin.

I was quite taken-a-back when i first read about the adipose (in Seegars tCoA), surely this is a most unusual feature???
