I gotta say these are these are really different & there must be a lot of thought & effort gone in to produce something that so clearly resembles the real thing. Great work indeed!

Re: Pearl-fishes
The Zebra was well suited for this, very nice job on that one!!
Just out of curiosity, how much time went into making it?
(I picture myself fumbling around and dropping beads everywhere if I was to attempt this)

Re: Pearl-fishes
I think that a fish well suited to this venture (but not aquarium life) is the South American red tailed cat...

LOL Birger! That's exactly where my brain went with these! "Holy wow, think of how much time you'd spend picking up the beads before you got something like that together!"
They really are fantastic. Thank you for sharing them with us, even if you won't really "share" hehe.

Re: Pearl-fishes
The zebra is smaller one, it was just 3 days. The other catfishes were 5-6 days, the raptor was 4 weeks.
How much money would you give for a fish or a dino? I want to make some creations for sell because I would like to buy a fishtank and now I haven't got enough money. I going to sell them in Hungary or send them to neighbour countries(Croatia, Slovenia, Austria). I'm sory if you live far from Europe and you want buy but the post is not cheap.

Re: Pearl-fishes
I think you could - at 15 cm length - get around 30 euros for one, max.
However, due to taxes (VAT nearly 20 %) and shipment, you should be able to profduce them for less than 20 euros, in order not to lose money
I'm afraid the production is, thus, for too complicated.
I happen to have a client (thus speaking purely professionally) who sells his products to shops which might be interested in your pearl-fishes, so I could help you making contacts, but I'm afraid the production wil be too expensive

Re: Pearl-fishes
I would think about targeting museum (Natural History and Aquarium museum shops). Doing a line of 'fish' that are scale models (approximately) would be really cool and I believe they are open to handling unique fine-crafted items. A set of three in sizes ranging from 5 cm to 15 cm (of natural "proportional" relationship to one another) would grab alot of fanciers/hobbiests attention even if they ended up spending $100-$150 (US) on the set. Or do as set of two and make them drool for more to add to it!!
Sometimes doing intricate work is more difficult (time-consuming) than the cost of materials (for larger scale models) is worth - but you could decide that (i.e. you might decide the sizing should be 10 to 30 cm--).
Just thoughts! Awesome idea and fine work!

Re: Pearl-fishes
The zebra pleco is 14 cm long and the cost of his materials was about 900 Ft(~3,45 Euros). The raptors materials were 2600 Ft(~10 Euros)+4 weeks work. The raptor is 35 cm long.
I thought that i can sell a 15 cm long fish for about 2500-3000 Ft(9,6-11,5 Euros) locally.

Re: Pearl-fishes
If any of you wish to commission Dániel to make a fish and send it to you, I can say that I paid up front for 5 fishes and they were sent to me and are all high quality. The Synodontis granulosa and Lamontichthys filamentosus are especially good. Dániel has asked me to say if anyone else wants him to makes fishes to order and send them, then please get in touch with him.

Maybe you should copyright/patent the designs including how they are made. Then approach a manufacturer with a deal.
The hammerhead is superb and very marketable.

Re: Pearl-fishes
Just to say that I bought some pearl fishes made to order from Daniel, I got to specify what species I wanted and they arrived quickly and are a favourite thing in my fishroom. They also don't need very frequent water changes.
