I don't have a subscription so I can't see the whole article, but both species are diagnosed by having a nearly white body. It seems strange to me that you can diagnose a species by coloration and yet know that they also have a different coloration.

Or is it? Firstly, you have to ask if it was known by the author that they changed colour in captivity or at least when light is present. Secondly, wouldn't you describe a species by what they normally look like in the wild rather than their captive form?

Ah, well I guess I made the assumption that L090 and L350 exist in the wild as I've normally seen them in photos, which I guess isn't the case if they can change their coloration like you say. Fascinating.
