Post by softak »

I've lost of my laser green corys in couple days.
They lost most of their tails and fins. Now I have another troubled one:

First thing is to make sure the water is top quality, by measuring & if neccessary adusting (pH, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia) The barbels look wasted/curled which could indicate poor water.

The fins look to have some/rot/fungus which can be treated with a standard med from the lfs (not sure what is available where you are)? I wonder if the fins have been attacked by a tankmate & the disease is secondary - what other species do you have?

I've seen similar symptoms caused by skin flukes.

All died.
I am lucky, did not move their fry in the same aquarium a day before.
