Six of these came into my LFS - they arrived in a bad way and this is the only survivor - not sure if it's
or not?

Thanks in advance
Martin

Hmm - this looks like a cory species...not sure which one but certainly not anything usually seen

Nothing i could see in cat-e-log was vaguely close (unless i missed something).
One for Ian without a doubt (& a few others, of course). I really don't think this is any scleromystax specie

Thanks Richard - they (it) came in i believe as Scleromystax, and the kronei was similar, but I wasn't sure either.
It's a decent sized fish, I'd say about 2"-2.5" if that helps.

I checked those 2 species but the "nasal stripe" & black dorsal (including the dorsal spine) put me off these - presuming the unidentified one & the 2 suggestions are typical patterning there is still a lot of variation - i'm not saying these are not great suggestions but i'd still like to see what Ian thinks.....i'm not brilliant with corys

Thanks Ian for confirming Yann's ID, and also Richard and Dave for your input too.
Thanks again
