Nice fish.
I have lost a couple and found one that was feeding on worms. After getting him I have not had any other problems. I'll never feed mine feeder fish again. I think these fish are too sensitive and the junk the feeders bring in is just not worth the risk. My fish has a great feeding response to nightcrawlers.

When I went through my keeping large predatory Pimelodid Catfish stage, I fed them frozen pieces of farm raised Rainbow Trout and Night crawlers. I always have like these kind of Catfish because they are so magnificent and interesting. B. jurense never was available during my large Catfish stage or I'm sure I would have wanted one.
These days if I can't breed 'em I rarely keep 'em. My Heckel Discus are my one indulgence in a fish I either can't breed or am very unlikely to breed.
